Matthew S. Wahrer

Matthew S. Wahrer concentrates on management-side employment litigation, focusing on issues such as employment discrimination, leaves of absence under the FMLA and ADA, state and federal wage act claims, and non-competition and non-solicitation agreements. Matthew also works with municipal clients on a variety of employment related matters. Additionally, Matthew is active in the firm’s Corporate Counsel practice, where he advises clients in complex contract negotiations and IP portfolio management. 

Prior to joining Holtz & Reed, Matthew served as a judicial clerk at the Massachusetts Court of Appeals.  Matthew attended Suffolk University Law School, where he graduated magna cum laude and was a regular presence in the school’s appellate and trial competitions.  Matthew is also a graduate of Wheaton College (cum laude) and Scarborough High School.
